## Why upload a pitch deck

A pitch deck keeps the original supporting material with the Company Profile. Eqdeal can also analyze a PDF in the background to help populate profile data, reducing repeated manual entry.

## Upload and process the file

1. Open Company Profile.
2. Select Auto-fill from PDF.
3. Choose a PDF pitch deck and submit it.
4. Wait for background processing to finish, then review every extracted field before relying on it.

## Choose replacement carefully

If a deck already exists, you can process the existing file or upload a new one. The option to clear profile data before processing cannot be undone: use it only when replacing the profile content is intentional.

**Do not start a second upload while processing**

The profile blocks another PDF processing request until the current one finishes.

## Review the extracted profile

Treat extraction as a draft. Check company facts, market claims, traction, team details, and fundraising information against the current deck. Remove unsupported text and complete missing context before making the profile visible or using it in matchmaking.
