Complete the investor identity
Investor sidebar → Profile
Confirm whether you are operating as an individual investor or through an institutional investor profile. The selected investor context determines the portfolio, theses, recommendations, and funnel you can access.
Create an investment thesis
Investor sidebar → Investment theses
- Give the thesis a distinct name that identifies its mandate.
- Define relevant sectors, business stages, locations, and other available qualification criteria.
- Enter the intended investment range using comparable minimum and maximum values.
- Review exclusions and any criteria intentionally left open.
- Save and confirm that the thesis appears under the correct investor profile.
Improve recommendation quality
Use criteria that describe genuine investment decisions. Overly broad theses create noise; overly narrow theses can hide relevant companies. Maintain separate theses when the investor operates materially different strategies.
When a thesis changes
Update the thesis when the mandate changes, then refresh the relevant recommendations. Existing connections and funnel records remain business history and should not be treated as invalid only because the current thesis changed.
