Have the legal name, country, registration information, address, and representative details available. Search carefully before creating a company to avoid duplicates.
Create the company workspace
Managed Companies → Add new company
- Choose the company country and search for an existing record.
- If no correct company exists, continue with company creation.
- Enter legal, address, website, and representative information requested by the onboarding steps.
- Review the summary before completing onboarding.
Result
Eqdeal creates an isolated workspace for the company’s cap table, investors, contracts, documents, and permissions. Creating a workspace does not issue shares or verify the company automatically.
If the company already exists
Do not create a second workspace with a shortened name or different spelling. Open the existing result, confirm its country and legal identity, and request access or begin the supported ownership-claim process. Provide evidence only through the designated verification workflow.
Verify the new workspace
Open Company Details and confirm legal name, country, registration information, and representatives. Then establish the opening cap-table structure from approved sources. Leave equity empty until the correct founders, classes, quantities, and dates are available.
