Prepare the file
Use the CSV structure provided by the KPI import workflow. Keep one observation per indicator and period, preserve the expected column names, and save the file with a consistent character encoding.
- Use stable KPI names or identifiers that match the company’s configured indicators.
- Represent dates and periods consistently.
- Do not mix currencies or units in the same indicator history.
- Remove formulas, merged cells, explanatory rows, and subtotals before exporting CSV.
Import and review
Investor Relations → Indicators → Import from CSV
- Select the CSV and start validation.
- Review rejected rows, missing indicators, invalid values, and period conflicts.
- Correct the source file rather than guessing inside the import review.
- Confirm only after the accepted-row count and affected periods match your expectation.
- Open the affected KPI charts and reconcile several sample values with the source.
Avoid duplicate history
Before repeating an import, check whether the first operation completed. A corrected import should intentionally update the relevant periods, not create a second set of observations with slightly different labels.
Keep the source evidence
Retain the approved source file and the import date. If a published report used the data, reconcile corrections against the published snapshot before changing the current series.
