Step-by-step guide

Attach contract documents

Store executed PDFs with the contract they support.

Attach the evidence

Open contract → Documents or Files → Upload

  1. Use the executed agreement and any amendments that explain the recorded terms.
  2. Upload a readable PDF with a descriptive filename.
  3. Place it in the contract folder, not only in the general company or investor folder.
  4. Open the uploaded file once to confirm it is complete and associated with the correct contract.

Documents support review but do not themselves change the cap table. Contract fields and controlled equity actions determine the recorded ownership result.

Keep versions understandable

Use filenames that identify the instrument, counterparty, execution state, and date. Keep amendments with the contract they modify, and avoid replacing an executed file with an unsigned draft. When several documents support one contract, make their relationship clear in the names or notes.

Protect document access

Upload only information needed for the contract workflow. Verify the company, contract, and folder before uploading, especially when the file contains signatures or personal information. If a file was attached to the wrong record, contact an authorized company representative before relying on it.
